Our experience in engineering camper conversions under the banner of 8 Ball Camper Conversions spans more than a decade. As avid road-trippers ourselves, it seemed a natural progression to develop a rental side of the business, enabling us to open up this experience for many others. As you can see from the gallery of images, we’re passionate about the style and functionality of the campers we build, which is nowhere more evident than in our rental 2018 VW T6 Camper Van.
Our 2018 Volkswagen Transporter T6 Highline van has a Reimo Open Sky TUV approved elevating roof and custom built interior which demonstrates some of the vast range of finishes from which our customers can choose.
Built to a very high standard, the van includes a gas stove, Fridge/freezer, crash tested RIB seat/bed, auxiliary heating and LED lighting.
As well as traveling abroad and further afield, Yorkshire and the North East provide us with some of the best countryside and coastline the UK has to offer, no better place to get on the road, explore and enjoy the limitless possibilities that driving a camper van offers.
Detailed below is the essential information regarding the hire of our 2018 VW T6 camper van.
FULLY EQUIPPED
We’ve made sure our hire van is fully equipped, integrating all the necessities and home comforts our customers have come to expect. There is plenty of storage space and the Loc8 Table System and swivel passenger seat create a convivial and comfortable environment in which to sit, eat and play cards etc.
The (TUV approved) Rib Altair crash tested back seat flips over into a comfortable double that sleeps 2 adults and the (TUV approved) Austops elevating roof opens up ample space for another 2 adults on a high quality double memory foam mattress. The pop-top also acts as standing space when using the kitchen.

HIRE CAMPER VAN INCLUDES
- Reimo TUV approved Open Sky pop-top (elevating) roof
- Full camper van features:
– gas stove (plus one bottle of gas)
– fridge/freezer
– cooking utensils, cutlery, plates and bowls - 2 x 12v charge points
- 3 pin 240V power supply (when hooked up to mains)
- 2 x double beds
- Fire extinguisher and fire blanket
- Loc8 Table System, offering a table that can be used both inside and outside the van
Short Break Rate
Gives hirers the option of a 4 night mid-week break running from Monday to Friday, or alternatively a 3 night long weekend running from Friday to Monday.
